American Tourist causes issues.

An American tourist struck a deal with the acting manager of Nimmo’s Hostel on upper Dominick Street to work in return for free room. But over the last 6 days he skimmed € 2,029.72 from its revenues. The tourist has been charged with 6 counts of theft. The tourist who is originally from Fresno, California “had been placed in a position of trust and left to his own devices.”
In court Mr. Savala plead guilty and received a fine of € 2.000 and granted him leave to appeal after finding that all but € 50 had been recovered. This was a bizarre case. The owner was not aware of the accommodations that left a foreign traveler in charge of the hostel.
